BOXABL Unveils Rego-Brix Radiation Shielding for Lunar Habitats
LAS VEGAS, USA - BOXABL, an innovative housing technology company currently in the process of merging with FG Merger II Corp. (Nasdaq: FGMC), has unveiled Rego-Brix, a new radiation-shielding concept designed for long-term human habitation on the Moon. As the company works toward its public listing under the ticker symbol 'BXBL', this technological development highlights its expansion into space infrastructure solutions.
The Rego-Brix system addresses the significant challenge of cosmic radiation exposure for lunar settlers. Instead of launching heavy protective materials from Earth, the concept utilizes locally sourced lunar regolith (rock and dust). The modular, nestable components are designed to be transported in a flat-folded state and filled with in-situ materials once on the surface to create effective, protective barriers around living quarters.
