eToro Agrees to Acquire TradeZero to Accelerate US Expansion
New York, New York, USA - eToro Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: ETOR), the trading and investing platform, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire TradeZero, a US-focused online brokerage serving active traders.
The acquisition is designed to strengthen eToro's presence and product offerings in the US market by integrating TradeZero's next-generation trading platforms, global broker-dealer infrastructure, and active trading community. TradeZero currently has operations across the US, Canada, and international markets.
Transaction Details
- Aggregate purchase consideration of up to $231 million.
- Consideration consists of cash and up to 2.5 million newly issued Class A common shares of eToro.
- Transaction is expected to close during the first half of 2027, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
Financial Highlights
- TradeZero generated approximately $80 million in revenue in the twelve months ended June 30, 2026.
- The company achieved 81 percent gross margins during the second quarter of 2026.
- The transaction is expected to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share in the first year upon completion.
