Factorial Energy Completes Business Combination and Lists on Nasdaq
Boston, Massachusetts - Factorial Inc. has officially completed its business combination with Cartesian Growth Corporation III, a special purpose acquisition company. The newly combined entity will operate as Factorial Energy Inc., with its common stock and warrants beginning to trade on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker symbols FAC and FACWW, respectively, starting June 8, 2026.
This strategic transaction values the company at approximately $1.3 billion and secures over $100 million in gross proceeds. These funds are designated to accelerate the commercialization of Factorial's solid-state battery technology, which is targeted at key industries including defense, aerospace, hyperscale data centers, and e-mobility.

- Market Entry: The company successfully enters public markets with a capital-light commercialization model focused on scalable manufacturing partnerships.
- Strategic Growth: Factorial is currently expanding into high-performance drones and progressing toward the first U.S. solid-state production program for passenger vehicles.
- Leadership: The board includes notable industry figures such as Executive Chairman Joe Taylor, formerly of Panasonic North America, and Dieter Zetsche, former Chairman of Daimler.
- Recent Milestones: Recent achievements include the successful 1,205 km test drive of a modified EQS vehicle, partnerships with major drone integrators, and the launch of a 100Ah+ lithium metal solid-state battery.
To celebrate the debut, the company is scheduled to ring the Nasdaq Opening Bell on June 17, 2026, where they will also exhibit demonstration vehicles and battery cells.
