Spring Valley Acquisition Corp. III Shareholders Approve Business Combination with General Fusion
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada - Spring Valley Acquisition Corp. III (NASDAQ: SVAC), a special purpose acquisition company focused on power infrastructure and decarbonization, announced that its shareholders have formally approved the business combination with General Fusion Inc., a leader in the development of fusion energy technology. General Fusion securityholders also voted to approve the transaction at a special meeting held on July 6, 2026.
This approval marks a significant step forward in bringing General Fusion to the public markets. The company, which specializes in Magnetized Target Fusion (MTF) technology, aims to provide zero-carbon, baseload power to the energy grid. The fusion demonstration machine, known as the Lawson Machine 26 (LM26), is a central part of this practical approach to achieving fusion energy at a commercial scale.
