Hadron Energy to Go Public via $1.2B Business Combination with GigCapital7 Corp.
New York, NY - September 29, 2025 - Hadron Energy, Inc., a pioneering developer of Micro Modular Reactor (MMR) technology, and GigCapital7 Corp. (NASDAQ: GIG), a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), today announced they have entered into a definitive business combination agreement. This transaction is set to take Hadron Energy public, valuing the company at approximately $1.2 billion before public capital raise. Upon completion, the combined entity is expected to be listed on a US national exchange under the symbol "HDRN," marking it as the first publicly traded light water MMR company.
Hadron Energy specializes in innovative light water MMRs, building on nearly 70 years of proven light water reactor technology. These MMRs are designed to provide a 24/7 uninterrupted supply of safe, clean, and cost-efficient nuclear power. Each unit is capable of generating 10 megawatts of electricity (MWe) and 35 megawatts of thermal heat (MWth), featuring an operationally efficient 10-year fueling cycle. A key advantage of Hadron's design is its compact size, allowing the reactor core and containment shell to be transported in standard shipping containers, and requiring only a fraction of the land used by wind and solar installations.
