New York, New York, USA - Nuvation Bio Inc. (NYSE: NUVB), a global oncology company, has announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, alongside a series of operational updates. The company highlighted strong commercial growth for its flagship product, IBTROZI (taletrectinib), and made significant strides in its clinical pipeline for safusidenib.

Financial Highlights

  • Reported total revenue of $31.7 million for the second quarter of 2026.
  • Net product revenue from U.S. sales of IBTROZI reached $23.2 million.
  • Cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities totaled $661.0 million as of June 30, 2026.

Business Update

Nuvation Bio continues to establish IBTROZI as a standard of care for patients with advanced ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Data indicates IBTROZI is the most prescribed ROS1 tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) in new patient starts during the first five months of 2026. Approximately 85% of new patients this quarter were TKI-naive, marking a 30% quarter-over-quarter growth in this patient segment.

The company also provided positive updates regarding its clinical candidate safusidenib, an IDH1 inhibitor for gliomas. Long-term Phase 2 data showed a centrally assessed objective response rate (ORR) of 51.9% and a 36-month progression-free survival (PFS) rate of 79.1%. Consequently, Nuvation Bio has significantly expanded its clinical development program, initiating new pivotal studies to address a broader spectrum of IDH1-mutant glioma patients.
