Teamshares Inc. Begins Public Trading on Nasdaq
New York, USA - Teamshares (Nasdaq: TMS), a tech-enabled holding company specializing in acquiring businesses from retiring owners, officially began trading on the Nasdaq today. The company, which functions as part holding company and part fintech platform, focuses on transitioning successful small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) while aligning employee interests through stock ownership.
The company's leadership highlighted the significance of the public listing. CEO Michael Brown stated that the move provides additional financing options to expand their model to thousands of companies. CTO Kevin Shiiba emphasized that the company's proprietary data and AI-driven software, which manages underwriting and operations, will accelerate as they integrate more businesses.
