Veradermics Reports Positive Phase 2/3 Trial Results for VDPHL01 in Male Pattern Hair Loss
New Haven, Conn. -- Veradermics, Inc. (NYSE: MANE), a biopharmaceutical company specializing in aesthetic dermatology, has announced positive topline results from its randomized, double-blind, Phase 2/3 clinical trial (Study 302) of VDPHL01. The investigational drug, a proprietary extended-release oral minoxidil formulation, met all primary and key secondary endpoints in 519 male patients suffering from mild-to-moderate pattern hair loss.
The study demonstrated that VDPHL01 provides rapid, consistent, and robust hair growth compared to placebo. By Month 6, patients treated with the drug showed statistically significant improvements in hair count and patient-reported outcomes. The treatment was well-tolerated, with a safety profile similar to placebo, and no serious treatment-related adverse events, particularly of cardiac origin.
